Jack Greer, MD is here to help you with a wide range of procedures, including Adenotonsillectomy, allergy testing, balloon sinuplasty, ear surgery, endoscopic sinus surgery, head and neck surgery, hearing aids, rhinoplasty, septoplasty.

Dr. Greer, is Board-Certified in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, and licensed in both Georgia and Tennessee.

He graduated from the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center College of Medicine in 1993. He completed residency at the University of Tennessee in 1999.

Peter Sabatini, MD

MD of Chattanooga, Peter Sabatini

Peter Sabatini MD received his medical degree from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine. He completed is Otolaryngology residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He is a veteran of both the United States Army and the United States Air Force. He enjoys all aspects of ENT but is expert in the care of sinusitis, nasal surgery, pediatric surgery, and thyroid and parathyroid management.

Mark Ellis, MD

Mark Ellis, MD grew up in Chattanooga, TN and received his undergraduate degree from the Honors College at the University of Georgia. He completed medical school at the Medical College of Georgia, where he was president of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. Dr. Ellis completed his Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery training at the Medical University of South Carolina.

Dr. Ellis is a head & neck surgeon. He specializes in pediatric ENT, thyroid & parathyroid surgery, and head & neck cancer surgery.

Laura Hixon, PA

Laura Hixon is a Physician Assistant born and raised in the Chattanooga area.  She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.  She continued her education and received her masters degree in medical science from the Physician Assistant program at Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville.
Laura enjoys treating a wide variety of ENT related issues with a special interest in disorders of the ear.  Her goal is to provide each patient with knowledgable and compassionate care that will improve their quality of life.  She also enjoys educating patients to better understand their health concerns and work as a team to create an individualized treatment plan.

When she is away from work, Laura enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two daughters. She is involved in her children’s school and is an active member in her church. In her free time, she enjoys reading and spending time outdoors with her family.

Haven Howard, PA

Haven Howard is a board certified physician assistant (PA) and has practiced otolaryngology at Chattanooga Ear, Nose & Throat since 2014. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC and then earned her Masters of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Arcadia University in Philadelphia, PA. She holds a national board certification through the American Academy of Physician Associates and is a member of the Society of Physician Assistants in Otolaryngology- Head and Neck.  

Haven is a Chattanooga native and GPS alumna. It is the full array of patients and their various concerns that  brought her to this specialty, but she especially enjoys caring for her pediatric patients and adult patients with ear-related and hearing concerns. She appreciates the connections and relationships that she has gained with patients and their families over the years. In time spent outside of the clinic, Haven enjoys reading/listening to audiobooks, gardening, time spent outdoors, and spending time with her friends, family, and her husband and two sons.

Melissa Jones, FNP

Melissa Jones is a board certified family nurse practitioner (FNP). Originally from West Tennessee, she has lived and worked in the Chattanooga area for the past 10 years. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Middle Tennessee State University and her Master's of Science in Nursing from Southern Adventist University. Melissa enjoys caring for both adults and children with ENT conditions. 

In her spare time Melissa can be found working on her hobby homestead with her husband and their three children. She enjoys cows, photography, sunshine, and growing flowers. 

Carey Smith, Audiology

Carey Smith received her Doctor of Audiology in 2009 from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. Following graduation, she worked for a large ENT practice in Greenville, North Carolina. She returned to Tennessee in 2013 to join Chattanooga ENT Associates, P.C. She is passionate about hearing health and enjoys forming relationships with patients to help them re-connect with the hearing world around them. Dr. Smith has an extensive knowledge in fitting the latest digital hearing devices, both for hearing loss and for tinnitus.

Aryn clark, Audiology

Aryn is originally from Tupelo, Mississippi. She received her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Mississippi. She then completed her Doctorate of Audiology at the University of South Alabama. Aryn is a certified audiologist through the American Speech and Hearing Association. She joined Chattanooga ENT in 2020. She enjoys assisting those that are hard of hearing improve their communication through hearing aids and counselling. She is trained in fitting the latest hearing aid technology.

In her free time Aryn enjoys hiking, travelling, and playing with her dog Maple.
